"LET IT GO! LET IT GO! CAN'T HOLD IT BACK ANYMORE!" - Idina Menzel as Elsa from FROZEN (2013)

There was a time when you couldn't go anywhere in the world without hearing a disney song and today that still stands. I remember when I first saw Frozen, very inspiring and absolutely wonderful! the songs in particular are specifically what made my viewing of it more pleasurable. The song "Let it Go" however, still remains to this day just as unforgettable as that film itself... And after 7 years of waiting, debating and anticipating, the sequel is finally here! Frozen II is a sequel that brings back memories and gives us new ones we will never... ever... let go!

Sisters Anna and Elsa, along with Kristoff, Sven the Reindeer and yes... that lovable snowman Olaf return to warm our hearts again. This time they embark on a perilous journey of great discovery which leads them to several paths, but even more so: the origin of Elsa's powers. In the first film she feared her own abilities only to learn that "love will thaw" and allowed her to better control her powers. In this one, we finally discover who Elsa is and what she was meant to be. Without giving away too much, we are taken on an adventure into the unknown. Everything about this film is a showstopper mainly due to the songs featured in this film. I went into it with high expectations and only 2 songs got to me the most. One positive and one dark but motivating.

"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." - 1 CORINTHIANS 13:13 NIV

The word "LOVE" has been known to be many things, but the one thing it does most is keep us going, no matter what. In this case, sacrificial actions through unconditional acts of love itself. The love between Anna and Elsa is so strong that even fear cannot keep them apart. In fact, they were even willing to give their lives for each other. There were so many spiritual messages behind this film that it's hard to even keep up with them. Because Jesus loved us first, we're called to love one another (JOHN 15:12) regardless of our imperfections. Here are 3 key examples of that:

1) FAITH: Belief in yourself and in others

2) HOPE: Belief to overcome any challenge

3) LOVE: Trusting yourself to do the right thing for the sake of others

When you put all these together, you just can't go wrong with them. I myself have a sibling: A younger Brother and although our childhood was less than perfect, as we got older it grew into something positive for both of us and has remained that way ever since. Family is such a big thing because of how much they mean to us personally and sometimes emotionally. The film completely touched on those subjects and in doing so, brought a whole new meaning to them.

From Kristen Bell to Evan Rachel Wood, hearing everyone's vocal performances... everyone was spot on, including the ones from the first film. You just can't picture or hear anyone else besides them in those parts. The thing about these 'Frozen' films is that love is the greatest power to have ever lived, more powerful than fear or doubt, that when accepted into our hearts and practiced on a daily basis it makes you a better person than you were before. Our past is our past and cannot be changed, but it doesn't define our future, only the present time can do that and the more improvement we make, the more prosperous our future becomes. The music was incredible, the songs of course were amazingly haunting and yet catchy at the same time. The animation as always manages to maintain it's superiority in setting, backdrop and action that you actually think you're in their world. When our heroes take they're first step while on their adventure, you feel yourself going along with them. The musical aspect of it was also just as good too and each song had a story and a meaning behind them. Despite a few moments and unexpected twists and turns, I even found myself crying at a few scenes. Disney just seems to manage to have that profund effect on us old and young people. I think that after we're long gone, that tradition will still continue.

"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." - 1 PETER 4:8 NIV

In Conclusion, this movie has exceeded nearly every expectation. Awesome, emotional and even spiritual on almost every note. It was serious when it needed to be, the jokes were also great and it was so much more than the original. Another thing about it is that it doesn't take a damsel in distress, a villanous character and a handsome prince to make a good movie. But rather the opposite because princesses have just as much capability and bravery that men have themselves. Anna and Elsa have proved once again that love is the key to everything and fear was their greatest enemy. Even so, they overcome with triumph and in the end, love only brought them closer together. There was this one video on YouTube I saw and it shows the power of love between siblings. The video showed a young brother teaching his younger sister to play basketball. Then the sister gets hit in the face by the ball and she's crying. Her brother rushes to her aid to make sure she isn't hurt and afterwards, hands the ball to her, picks her up and then... she makes the shot! That goes to show how powerful love is, especially between siblings. All in all, I highly recommend this movie and I give it a 5 star rating!!! Who knows? Maybe in the next few years or so, we may even get a third Frozen film!
